Melanie In The White Coat Testo

Testo Melanie In The White Coat

Melanie in the white coat, wearing the black scar, knocking
on the heads of old ladies.

"Chatter on grannies--wheezing withered fannies--counting
all your pennies!"

She slps from an octopus riding the Nachtbus leaving him to
his limp tendrils. Lechers on the U-Bahn, she says.

"Get away from me mahn! I'm more Man than you'll ever be.
Listen, Listen, listenlistenlisten when I talk to you! Look out, look
out lookoutlookoutlookout your window!"

There goes Melanie in the white coat riding the black bike,
wearing her scarf like a bandit. She rides through the city, takes
lunch in a cemetary, watches the red cat leap tombstones.
She's sick of being a teacher, suffere a seizure staring at the
dead-eyed pupils!"

"Listen, listen, listenlistenlisten when I talk to you! Look out, look
out, lookoutlookoutlookout your window!"

There goes Melanie in the white coat off to the movies to see
her old friend 'Zazie' laughing on the tower while the timid gents
cower aghast at her petulance.

"Listen, listen, listenlistenlisten when I talk to you! Look out, look
out, lookoutlookoutlookout your window!"

Perched on her elbows--calloused fingers, crooked nose--
another late night in stale clothes. Out through the dim street,
clip-clop of her feet, there goes Melanie in the white coat.
There she goes.
