I wanted to talk about planets or something
to romanticize this human cruelty we have within us
something about orbits and passing
and the inability to do anything but
what we are designed to do
the truth is that'd be too beautiful
I don't believe you or I
deserve that much credit
there's not a pretty way to paint
the way you and I tear up each other it's just sick and selfish and shortsighted
and even when we can see it
