Restraints Testo

Testo Restraints

building castles out of sand,
running through our hands
with no chance to hold back one single grain
adding to the newborn's fear the pain

crystal clear lies the water still,
reflecting human will
but one piece makes all
the brightness bent
out of shape we once called men

children of tomorrow,
still born a life
with sickened brains
we'll never understand

a mind made full of wars,
controlling our thoughts
while our instincts lead to reasons sosad
no holy God will even understand

so beautiful to you it seems
but you don't even know
for whom it may be
when the light embraces your face
I wish that you could see
for whom it may be
someone will tell you someday
whoever it may be
for whom it may be

and vanity washes away
the memories of different days
would tell us how to survive ourselves
don't know which way to go for help

building castles out of sand,
slipping through our hands
and no chance to hold back one moment
as we watch lives come to their end

so beautiful to you it seems
but you don't even know
for whom it could be
someone will tell you someday
whoever it may be
for whom it should be
as the light embraces your face
you wished that you could stay
one more of these days
