What Happened Testo

Thinking back,
what it once was,
wondering what happened,
between the both of us.

Meeting the first day,
we had so much to say,
but not really knowing,
how this would pay.
Everything seemed perfect,
not a flaw in sight.
Not knowing in the end,
we'd leave in a fight.

Growing feelings,
becoming one,
we knew each other,
more than anyone.

You were the boy,
I looked forward to seeing,
the boy I was no longer dreaming.

A bond growing,
so unbelievably fast,
No wonder time came and passed.

I could tell you anything,
without being scared, because you promised,
you would always be there.

Every moment that we were away,
I felt like something was missing,
through out my day.
And when we were together,
every thing seemed just right,
especially when you held me tight.

You were my best friend,
that I've never had.
My best friend that I thought,
I would always have.

Screams and tears being told,
Walking away and going home,
Our little fights,
we learned to solve,
I never wanted to turn my back on it all.

All of the times,
that we always shared,
Good or bad,
I'm sad to see it all disappear.

You drifted off,
lost what was there,
I'm done going back,
Hoping it would reappear.

I've tried so hard,
to make this work.
It's all over,
you wanted out.

I just want you to know,
I kept my promise,
I'll be there for you,
if you ever wanted.

We may not be friends,
or even more.
But I will always love you,
for who you are.

I honestly do miss you,
and wish we could go back,
But I've learned to understand,
that we can't.

Thinking back,
I wonder why,
we gave up,
and didn't try.
One more time,
like I always said,
did it really need,
to come to an end.

So many things,
will always remind me of you,
You were my dream boy,
who once came true
