I met her next to the golden place, for a moment there we stood face to face

The sun drew little line in the silver sea; silversnakes - like antique jewelery

Mesmerized when the lady blew a kiss to me, Tere smiled, dressed in black, making her eyes at me and funny shadows dancing on the wall as she walked by, Summer '88 somewhere in july



Well it seemed just an ordinary day to me, as we walked down the beach of the spanish sea

I thought i heard a distant scream below the waterline but when i turned to see Tere's silversnakes entwined


Embracing her, she feels so real

And tracing her, but there's no image on the waterline



The passion in her eyes

I want to make it last for all time



Tere girl, Tere mine, she likes to keep away (at any time)

But when the morning comes and the love has gone (love is gone a-ha)

She doesn't realize what she has done

Stormy evening, Tere wasn't at the beach of aches. I asked some people:"where's the girl with the Silversnakes but they just stared at me..., one said "I have something to tell"



"Tere died, April 13th, 20 years ago, drowned in the silversea, but one thing I don't know......"

Remaining words where taken by the wind, lost in the storm

I screamd "Her dying day.. was the day I was born!"
