A Person Like Me Testo

I ran into happiness and the outcome lay before me. I left in joy and returned in sorrow. You`ve cast me aside, you dominated. I`m suffering under the pressure you`ve put on me.The remaining thoughts of you, which still don`t let me sleep.The poetic verses you once wrote to me, or I wrote to you,which haven`t got a clue why they were written. When desire turns to obsession, I`m out of control. I can`t do anything at all. I can say I left in the light and came back in the dark.Yet it`s too late, you can`t turn back the clock. I tried to change, but the motivation waned. I failed.My ideas continue to live, although I couldn`t fulfil my dream.I live in a dream that can`t be fulfilled by a person like me. Life is harder to understand than I`d thought.Each day brings a new piece of reality and , in time, destroys all my wonderful dreams. When desire turns to obsession, I`m out of control. What counts in life is the coming and going of the tide,Everything else is just the trimmings. Trimmings which embellish reality.
