My Dimly Lit Design Testo

Testo My Dimly Lit Design

My eyes are black inside,
And I can't see anything,
You found me vitalized,
I just don't feel a thing,
You know it's dark in here,
You know you're scared,
I know your heartbeats near,
You're filled with fear,
I feel no remorse,
I am, Who I am,
I have embraced this curse,
On solid ground I stand,

Or have I lost myself,

Am I alone,
(Have I shattered your heart of glass)
With my heart of stone,
(And left the pieces for you)
To pick up on your own, (on your own)
I guess my true colors are starting to show,
But only you would know,

These thoughts inside my head,
Tear me apart, drive me to the edge,
I'm practically running circles,
Around the life I thought I led,

You tried to guide me through,
In these trouble times,
But your light has faded,
How can you be so blind,
All I asked for is your acceptance,
And I just don't understand,
How you could love what I was,
But not love who I am,

For you I would forget this ever happened,
Just take my hand, embrace my dimly lit design,

Am I alone,
(Have I shattered your heart of glass)
With my heart of stone,
(And left the pieces for you)
To pick up on your own, (on your own)
I guess my true colors are starting to show,
But only you would know,

All that you ever wanted from me,
Was just for me to be myself,
(I wasn't good enough, I'm never good enough)
I couldn't live up to your expectations, (and now you're gone)
I never wanted it to end like this, (now you're gone)
You've cast me away,
But I'm taking you with me.
