a dragonfly got caught in my hair
flapping its beautiful wings in despair
fear’s a gum stuck to your bum
pulling you down making you succumb
and here i am with a broken heart
and a dragonfly tangled up
this situation is telling me to dare

to climb up high and reach the sky
and then dive in with a smile to shut down the shop
rewrite the plot
and then drive through the stop sign
a dragonfly was meant to fly
but i can’t
